Abe Vinyard, 73, Harrodsburg, husband of Betty Washburn Vinyard, died Monday, September 15 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born May 23, 1941, in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Griffith Vinyard.
Survivors other than his wife: One daughter: Lela Claunch and one son: Kenny Ray Vinyard, both of Harrodsburg. Six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Abe was preceded in death by his Brother, Alvin Vinyard and sister, Joyce Vinyard.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lewis Walter. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
