Joseph Justin Mattingly, 67, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Beverly Price, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the V. A. Medical Center, Lexington. Born June 4, 1947, in Marion County, he was the son of the late George Edwin and Lucille (Taylor) Mattingly. He was a retired Foreman for Interplex Plastics, was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church. Other survivors include: one son, Les (Jody) Mattingly, Crab Orchard; one sister, Ann Margaret (Joe) Brady, Loretto; one brother, Wayne Taylor (Mary) Mattingly, Bardstown; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberbly Michelle "Kimmie" Mattingly, and a brother, Donnie Mattingly. Graveside services will be conducted 11 AM Monday, Mar. 3, 2015, at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion, Harrodsburg, with military rites. A Prayer Services will be held 7 PM Sunday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Deacon Brian Wentz. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Sunday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers: Jimmy & Wesley Brady, Levi Mattingly, David Ray Hardesty, Joe Pat Taylor, Jared Robbins. Honorary bearers: Matthew Tyler Mattingly, Justin Lee Mattingly and Brian Kelly Turner.
