Douglas J. Carter, Jr, 50, Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday. Born May 27,1964, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Virginia Sue Stratton and the late Douglas J. Carter.
He was a former Big J's Auction House employee and was currently Self Employed.
In addition to his mother, Doug is survived by a sister: Kimberlie Carter of Perryville and two brothers: Danny Matherly of Liberty, KY and Bobby Matherly of Las Vegas, NV, Four Nieces and Seven Nephews.
Visitation will be 11-1, Wednesday April 29 leading to the funeral service at 1 pm, by Paul Stratton, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Danny Matherly, Kyle Lyons, Marissa Hall, William Matherly II, Karissa Walker, Keipher McKenzie and Robert Carmickle.
Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
