Justin Clay VanWinkle, 28, husban of K'Lonnie Lanham VanWinkle, Salvisa, KY, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Born October 16, 1986, in Kailua, HI, he was the son of Kim (Doug) Anderson, Salvisa, and Bo VanWinkle, Harrodsburg. He was a 2005 graduate of Mercer Co. Sneior High School, where he had been active in FFA. Justin was a mechanic and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Other survivors include: a daughter, Kc'Kaye Renee VanWinkle, Harrodsburg; one sister, Ashley Wethington, Harrodsburg; three brothers, Jeremy and Bret VanWinkle, and Jerrod Anderson, all of Harrodsburg; two step sisters, Stephanie Anderson and Stacey Wise, both of Sarasota, FL; grandmothers, Jean Barnett, Salvisa, Barbara Haggard, Harrodsburg, and Betty VanWinkle, Harrodsburg; grandfather, Boyd VanWinkle, Berea; step grandmother, Dorothy Anderson, Marietta, OH. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Jerry Barnett, and a step grandfather, Warren Anderson. Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Lester Tirey. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon to 3:30 PM Friday at Ransdell's. Pallbearers: Jeremy VanWinkle, Brandon Mink, Jonathan Blackburn, Samuel Blackburn, Logan Lynn, Tyler Barnett, Jess Devine, Brian Devine and Jerrod Anderson. Honorary bearers: Logan Kaenzig, Luke Helton, Tanner Harmon, Justin Deaton, Justin Dolfi, Blake Sims and Bubba McFerron. Memorials are suggested to the local DARE Program.
