Charles Gregory, 71, Harrodsburg, widower of Betty Jean Derringer Gregory, died Wed., July 1, 2015.
Born Sept. 16, 1943, in Anderson Co., KY, he was the son of the late Earl and Genevie (West) Gregory. He was a retired Mixing Employee for Corning Inc., and attended the Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a daughter, Becky Dowell, Harrodsburg; a son, Charles Michael Gregory, Harrodsburg; four step children, Mary Jane Richmond, Paris, Susie Riley, Salvisa, Jerry Peel, Stanford, and Joe Keith Peel, Paris; three sisters, Dorothy Flemming and Margie Drury of Lawrenceburg, Phyllis Drury of Lexington; two brothers, Earl Thomas Gregory Jr. of Frankfort, Joe Gregory, Versailles; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services 2 PM Fri., July 3, 2015, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visit. 12 noon Fri., chapel.
Pallbearers are Tyler Jenkins, Paul Dowell, Denny Drury, Shawn Bozeman, Matthew Gregory, Kevin and Junior Dean. Honorary bearers are great grandchildren.
