Donna Lee Hazelwood Gash, 88, of Harrodsburg, Ky, wife of the late R. H. Gash Jr., died….Thursday, July 2, 2015 after a long illness.
Born March 24, 1927 in Clark County, Ky, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sally Lunsford Hazelwood. She was a mother, grandmother, housewife, a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, a member of the Welcome Sunday School Class and an avid UK fan.
Survivors are, one son, Stephen (Teresa) Gash of Harrodsburg. Two Granddaughters; Carey (Dustin) Wilson and Kelly (Jonathon) Griffieth and two great grandsons, Carter and Jude Wilson; and two siblings, Linda Sheperson of Harrodsburg, Howard Hazelwood of Frankfort and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four stillborn children, Danny, Lisa Lee, Bobby Sue and one unnamed boy. Three brothers, Carl Hazelwood, Kenny Hazelwood and Tommy Hazelwood; and one sister Dorothy Sue Cinnamon.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 East Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Bro. Wayne Spivey officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Wilson, Jonathon Griffieth, Scott Sheperson, Seth Mayes, Ricky Keller and Gordon Scott. Honorary Bearers will be: Allen Whitenack, Gerald Sheperson, Carter Wilson, Jude Wilson and Billy Dunaway
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund for Heating and Air at Harrodsburg Baptist Church, 312 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330
