Derek McKinney Reul, 26, Campbellsville, KY, son of Kathleen McKinney (Larry) Fletcher, died Saturday in an auto accident. Born October 20, 1988, in Harrodsburg, KY. Derek was an avid UK fan, staunch Republican and was employed at Curtis Manufacturing. Derek is survived by: his mother: Kathleen McKinney (Larry) Fletcher, one brother: Devin Reul of Campbellsville, step brothers: Gabriel, Gavin & Garrett Fletcher and step sister: Abigail Flores all of Leitchfield; grandparents: Joyce A. McKinney of Harrodsburg and Evelyn & Hartsell Fletcher of Leitchfield and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 PM at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 1125 Danville Road, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Chris Price, Gregg Morton, Thaddeus Blevins, Daniel Dickson, Lake Wiseman, Jesse Reynolds. Honorary Bearer: Rand Paul (with permission from his office). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg by Fathers Noel Zamora and Albert DeGiacomo. Burial will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to: St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1125 Danville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or Wreaths Across America 134 Cooper Drive, Lebanon, KY 40033.
