Hallie F. Vinyard, 78, Harrodsburg, widow of John L. Vinyard, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg. Born July 23, 1937, in Washington County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Laura Belle Watts Lambert. She was a Retired Nutritionist for Mercer Co. Senior Citizens Center and a member of Pioneer Baptist Church. Hallie is survived by: one son: John Steven (Pam) Vinyard of Harrodsburg, one sister: Hazel Lambert Bottoms, Granddaughter, Kelli Nichole (Joey Griffin) Vinyard; Grandson, John Logan Vinyard; Sister In Law Vertie Lambert; Great Great Grandchild: Madisynn Griffin. Pallbearers will be: Mike Yankey, Leon Burns, Darryl Lambert, Harry Harmon, James "Butch" Merchant and William Edward Lambert. Honorary Beaers: Bob Bishop, Tommy Brummett, James "Punkin" Vandiver, and Jerry Poff . Visitation will be Monday, November 9, from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lewis Walter. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to Mercer Co. Senior Citizens or American Diabetes Assoc. (or American Kidney Foundation).
