Carolyn Rivera, 66, Harrodsburg, wife of Exequiel Rivera, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the Select Specialty Hospital, Lexington.
Born February 1, 1949, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Corine (Smith) Dean. She had been a seamstress at Cricketeer Mfg. and a cook for the Pioneer Kitchen, and was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Cynthia Ann (Andres) Gonzalez of Danville, and Tanya Gail (Evelio) Roblero of Harrodsburg; two sons, Jerome Lee Dean of Lexington, and Antonio Lee Dean of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Ann Louise Walker and Christine Edelen, both of Harrodsburg; one brother, Robert Lewis Dean, Harrodsburg; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Richard and George Dean, Betty Jean Black, and Mary Julia Vaughn.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Wed., Nov. 25, 2015, at the Centennial Baptist Church, Harrodsburg, by Rev. John D. Short. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the hour of service Wednesday at the church.
