William C. "Bill", "Pistol", "Speedy" Quinn, Sr, 79, widower of Peggy Stephens Quinn, died Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born September 30, 1936, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late William C. and Dora Etta (Harris) Quinn. He was a retired construction worker and had worked for Bruce Hale Home Improvement. He was a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Barbara D. Quinn of Las Vegas, NV; seven sons, Bradley D. (Cindy) Quinn of Georgetown, Thomas R. (Marcia) Quinn of Junction City, James C. (Jennifer) Quinn of Lexington, Shawn P. (Kelly) Quinn of Dayton, OH, Shane T. (Nancy) Quinn of Stanford, Bejaie Quinn of Versailles, and William "Billy" Quinn of CA; one brother, James M. Quinn of Nancy, KY; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Willard L. Quinn, and two brothers, Robert L. and Clarence N. Quinn. Funeral services 11 AM Wed., Jan. 13, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Bradley Quinn. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation 5-8 PM Tues., Ransdell's. Pallbearers are his sons. Honorary bearers are James Meredith Quinn, Stephen Swift, Staci Case, Savannah Quinn, Isaiah Quinn, Paul Blake Murry, Cheyenne Quinn, Bud Quinn, Aundrea Quinn and Krysten Renae Quinn.
