Ada M. McMullen, 86, Harrodsburg, widow of Fred McMullen, died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born February 3, 1930, in Garrard Co., she was the daughter of the late John Leslie and Dora Mae McAnly King. She was a retired Kroger employee and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Danville, where she had been active with Awanas and other youth ministries. She was an accomplished cook and was an avid sports fan, but her greatest achievement was her sobriety over the last twenty-five plus years of her life. Survivors include: one daughter, Karen (Greg) McCloud, Harrodsburg; one son, Larry E. (Sharon) Keene, Parrish, FL; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Helen and Thelma King. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Denise Manning, and four brothers, William R., Albert L., Clarence L., and Cecil M. King. Funeral services 10 AM Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Andy Mikels. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 5-8 PM Wed., Ransdell's. Pallbearers are Greg, Andrew, and Matthew McCloud, Marty Hatter, Kyle Bishof, and Greg Jenkins. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Dr., Danville, KY 40422, or to the ACS Relay for Life, P.O. Box 411, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
