Lora Mae Gibson Yankey, 94, of Harrodsburg, widow of James D. Yankey died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Willows, Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Born November 21, 1921, in Mercer County, Kentucky. She was the seventh of ten children born to Clarence and Mary Elizabeth Divine Gibson. She was a graduate of Rose Hill High School, class of 1939. She retired from the Cricketeer Manufacturing Company and then started a second career working at the State Bank and Trust Company for several years before she retired again She decided that she wanted to spend more time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended their sporting events and yelled along with the rest of the family. She was a member of the Antioch Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, JoEtta Yankey Wickliffe of Harrodsburg, Brenda Yankey Noel of Mackville and Patricia Yankey (Eugene) Devine of Perryville, Ky. Six grandchildren, Greg McCloud, Brad Noel, Donya Smith, Lani Callebs, Kevin Devine and Lori Burns and Twelve great grandchildren. Amanda Bischof, Andrew McCloud, Matthew McCloud, Jonathan Noel, Bryan Noel, Isaac Smith, Caroline Smith, Will Callebs, Anne Callebs, Tyler Devine, Brennon Devine and McKenzie Burns. Five Great Great Grandchildren, Taylor Jo Royalty, Katelynn Mae Bischof, Jameson Kyle Bischof, Raylan McCloud and Madilynn Noel. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29.2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Peter Cemetery, Mackville, Kentucky Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday June 28, 2016 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, Ky. Pallbearers will be Greg McCloud, Brad Noel, Pat Smith, Johnny Callebs, Kevin Devine, Ashley Burns, Kyle Bischof, Andrew McCloud, Matthew McCloud, Jonathan Noel, Bryan Noel, Isaac Smith, Will Callebs, Tyler Devine, Brennon Devine all grandsons and Eugene Devine, son-in-law. Memorials are suggested to the Antioch United Methodist Church, c/o Peggy Powell, 365 Shortline Road, Perryille, Ky 40468.
