Sarah Ellen Pinkston, 65, Danville, KY, wife of James Lee "Jimmy" Pinkston, died Saturday at the Bradford Square Health Care Center, Frankfort. Born March 1,1951, in Spring City , TN, to the late Charles Edgar and Madge (Fugate) McClendon. Sarah worked for Holiday Inn. She enjoyed going fishing and to horse races but had a passion for Bingo. Sarah is survived by: her husband: James Lee Pinkston, three daughters: Mary (Billy) Collins of Harrodsburg, Paula (Reb) Brown of Lexington, and Sarah (Dewayne) Riddle of Waynesburg and one son: Ben Roberts; two step sons, Keith & Anthony Pinkston and a step daughter, Angie Haines; two sisters: Johnnie Roberts of Spring City, TN and Joyce Lemons of Danville, and one brother: Terry McClendon of Moreland; seven grandchildren, one step grandchild, five great grandchildren;. Sarah was preceded in death by her step son, Terry Pinkston and a brother, Charles McClendon. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday; July 20, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Terry McClendon, Carson Wilson, Conner Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Jesse Riddle and Dewayne Riddle. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
