Nona Laverne Richie, 76, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of David W. Richie, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Harrodsburg. Born August 28,1939, in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Delina Brandenburg Flynn. She was a retired secretary for The University of Kentucky Agriculture Department and was a member of The Carpenter's Christian Church. Nona is survived by: two daughters: Leslie Ann (James) Worley of Harrodsburg and Laura Lynn (Brad) Clem of Lancaster. Two sons: Mark (Mary) Richie of Louisville and Keith Richie of Lexington. One sister: Joyce Bouch of FL. Two brothers: Chigger Flynn of Harrodsburg and Bobby (Ella) Flynn of Lexington. 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday July 24, 2016 from 1-3pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers will be: Jake Worley, Dylon Worley, Brad Clem, James Worley, Mark Richie and Abbey Worley. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tom Lane. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to Wyatt Warriors ACCO, 480 Swope Lane, Lancaster, KY 40444. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com
