Obituary of Eugenia Sallee Warner

Eugenia Sallee Warner, 87, formerly of Harrodsburg and currently living in Galien, MI, died Friday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born October 30,1928, in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Eugene and Bessie Mae (Watts) Sallee. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and worked as an office clerk for Dr. Ralph Ballard and Attorney George Woolcott. Eugenia is survived by: a daughter: Linda Lou Warner and a son: Eugene Elliott (Carol) Warner of MI; two brothers: A.J. "Buck" Sallee of CA and Billy Sallee of Lexington, KY, eight grand children, fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Eugenia was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne W. Logue and two brothers, Donald J. Sallee and T. C. Sallee. Visitation will be 3-6 pm Sunday and prior to the service on Monday, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Gabriel Logue, Isaac Matherly , Steven Wiley, Pete Shaw, Buddy Logue and Harry Wiley. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Collier. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Kentucky & S. Indiana Chapter, 301 E. Main Street, Suite 100 Louisville, KY 40202 or the American Heart Association, Lexington Division, 354 Waller Avenue, Suite 110 Lexington, KY 40504.
