Roxie Lee Huffman Milburn, 78, of Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Joe Tevis Milburn, died Monday, August 22nd, 2016 at her home. Roxie was born March 11, 1938, in Mercer Co., to the late Gus and Mabel (Baker) Huffman. She went to high school at Harrodsburg High School and graduated in 1956. She worked as a Glass Inspector for Corning Glass. Roxie enjoyed spending her time at the Harrodsburg Dish Barn, collecting antiques, visiting flea markets, being a Kentucky Wildcats fan and taking care of her grandchildren. She received the honor of Kentucky Colonel. Roxie is survived by: her son, Joey L. Milburn of Harrodsburg; 6 grand-daughters, Kristin Combs, Kyleigh Combs, Jessica Milburn, Lauren (Adam) Beasley, McKenna Milburn and Tevis Milburn; 9 great-grandchildren, Madi Long, Simon Long, Gavin Holiday, Zane Combs, Harper Fredericks, Eliot Fredericks, Noah Beasley, Kora Beasley and Salem Searcy. She was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Young. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery Pavilion with Darrell Hahn officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson, Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are Shannon Murray, Max Searcy, Doug Long, Charlie Holiday, Adam Beasley, and Brian Hall. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Heritage Hospice and Hospice of the Bluegrass. Memorial donations may be made to Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Drive, Danville, KY 40422 and Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
