Mildred Riley, 94, Lebanon, widow of C. L. Riley, died Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the Village Of Lebanon. Born June 3, 1922, in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Hazel Phillips Birdwistle. Mildred was raised by her godparents the late Lester and Edith Rucker. She was a long time member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, was a retired bookkeeper for the Dowling Distillery of Lawrenceburg and the Kentucky Utilities Company of Lexington. Survivors include: one sister, Juanita "Nita" Parman and one nephew, Monty Parman, both of Lebanon; two great nephews; one great niece; two great-great nieces; one great-great nephew. Funeral services 2 pm Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at the Harrodsburg Baptist Church by Robert Defoor and Chris Howlett, with visitation after 11 am Monday. Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers will be Joshua Evans, Clint Parman, Alex Parman, Phillip Crump, Eric Hardin, & John Sparrow. Memorials are suggested to: Harrodsburg Baptist Church, 302 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330, Lebanon Baptist Church, 144 E Mulberry St, Lebanon, KY 40033 or the Lebanon United Methodist Church, 236 N Spalding Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033 .
