Obituary of Brenda Sue Dailey

Brenda Sue Dailey, 57, Harrodsburg, wife of Terry Dailey, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab Center, Harrodsburg. Born February 22, 1959, in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Don and Eva Ruth Dawson of Cincinnati, OH. She was a 1977 graduate of Forest Park High School and 1981 graduate of EKU where she majored in English & Social Studies. She taught middle school for 31 years in Fayette Co. including the last 24 years at Southern Middle School. After retiring she worked for UK supervising student teachers. She loved to sing, read historical fiction and walk her dog around the neighborhood. Survivors other than her husband: Two daughters: Angela (Mitch) Elliott of Louisville, KY and Allison Dailey of Tampa, FL, and one son: Tim (Mackenzie) Dailey of Walton, KY, one brother; Larry (Karen) Dawsonof NC and one grandchild, Sophie Dailey. Predeceased by one brother, Tom Dawson. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, from 6-8 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church by Father Tom Farrell and Father Allen Carter. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
