Frances "Janet" Stayton, 81, Harrodsburg, KY, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the Golden Living Center, Stanford. Born April 24, 1935, in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Vernell Garmon Smith. She was the widow of Edgar Stayton, a former bookkeeper and member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son: John Stayton of Danville, a daughter: Lisa Pack of Glasgow, a step-daughter: Sonja Cloud of Lexington, a brother: John Smith of Horse Cave, she also has three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services 11 AM Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at the Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville, KY. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday, Dec. 8, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
