Annabella Downs, 65, Harrodsburg, wife of Ronald Lee Downs, Sr., died Friday, December 16, 2016, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born December 30, 1950, in Fayette Co., she was the daughter of the late Doboy and Carrie (Releford) Carrier. She was a retired employee of the Woodford Co. Bluegrass Community Hospital and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Other survivors include: one daughter, Loretta Downs of Harrodsburg; one son: Michael Downs of Harrodsburg; one brother, Jesse James Hager of Nicholasville; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Downs and two brothers, Bud and Virgil Ray Hager. Services will be 2PM Monday, Dec., 19, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Victor Stratton. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery, Versailles, KY. Visitation will be 12PM until the hour of service on Monday. Bearers are Michael, Roy, Josh, and Christopher Downs, Ronald Downs III, and Gilbert Lowery. Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
