Obituary of Anna Julia Sallee

Anna Julia Sallee, 92, Harrodsburg, widow of Rue Edwin Sallee Sr., died Sunday at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center. Born December 14,1924, in Hartford, CT, to the late John and Mildred (Baulias) Snipes.
Anna retired as Presser from Cricketeer Manufacturing, she was a lifelong catholic and attended other churches with her families. Anna loved to play Bingo and to watch the UK Lady Cats and the UConn Lady Huskies play basketball.
She is survived by: five daughters: Patricia Carrier of Harrodsburg, Peggy Ross of Burgin, Mildred Thompson of Shelbyville, Sherry Robbins and Pam Devine both of Harrodsburg, and one son: Rue Edwin Sallee Jr. of Harrodsburg, one sister: Mildred Pierre of Hartford, CT, twelve grandchildren, great twenty-two grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by a son: Rodney Thomas Sallee, one grandchild, and seven siblings.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Wednesday; January 18 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Carrier Jr., Bryan Carrier, Gerald Thompson, Darrell Thompson, Brody Votaw and Kaigen Damrell.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm by Travis Altop. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
The family request memorial donations be sent to Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1400 Bluegrass Pike, Danville, KY 40422.
