Louise Jane Thomas, 88, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Buford "B.H." Thomas, Jr., died Saturday at the Bradford Square Health Care Center in Frankfort. Born October 21,1928, in Harrodsburg, to the late Elmer Lee and Grace Lee (Tyler) Peavler. Louise retired after 38 years from the Kentucky Deptartment For Mental Health. She was a member of the Eller's Memorial Baptist Church, was a former member of the Bruner's Chapel and Harrodsburg Baptist Churches. She was a collector of antiques, loved fishing, quilting, crocheting, macramé and most all crafts. Louise is survived by: one son: Anthony L. "Tony" (Tammy) Thomas of Shelbyville, and a granddaughter, Madison Thomas of Shelbyville. Visitation will be 10 am-2 pm Saturday; January 21 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: J. Hugh Phillips, Donald Logue, Kenny Milburn, Larry Camic, Kermit Logue, Eric Turner and Gordon Humble. Her church friends are ask to serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rick Bolton and Larry Camic. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
