Kenneth Dale Shackelford, 84, Harrodsburg, husband of Norma Dean Shackelford, died Friday, February 17, 2017, at the Thomson Hood V.A. Ctr., Wilmore. Born December 5, 1932, in Woodford Co., KY, he was the son of the late William Lindsey and Opal (Wiley) Shackelford. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church, and was a Army veteran of the Korean War. Other survivors include: one daughter, Phyllis Mobley of Mercer Co.; two sons, Kenny (Shelley) Shackelford and Stanley (Sharon) Shackelford, of Mercer Co.; two sisters, Betty Holderman of Elizabethtown, and Patsy Gray of Mercer Co.; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services 1 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Tony Smith. Burial will in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are grandchildren: Chris, Michael and Nathan Shackelford, Stefanie Mason, Wesley and Chad Gilvin, Amanda Agee, Holly Moore, Brandi Payton, April Becknell, Heather Purvis and Christina Zimniak. Honorary bearers are: Randy Connely, Kevin Lewis, J. B. Stratton, Ric Maxfield, Rachel, Jacob, Jordan, Cody, Nicholas, Levi, Christian, Lila Kate, and Caden Shackelford, Gracie and Katie Agee, Robbie and Lillie Purvis, Jacob, Lexi, and Justin Becknell, Delaney and Sadie Moore, Jordan and Cedric Lyons, Tyler Austin, Aaliyah Sims, Leighton Lucas, and Annistan Burton.
