Obituary of Teresa Gayle Butler

Teresa Butler, 58, mother of Chad (Barbara) Steele, died Friday, Feb. 17,2017, in Lexington. Born Nov. 11, 1958, in Pikeville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard Tackett and the late Marie (Devine) Tackett. She was a former Texas Instrument employee and was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church. Teresa was a lover of life and spent everyday enjoying it with family and friends. Survivors include: one son, Chad (Barbara) Steele, Harrodsburg; two granddaughters, Cierra (Jeremy) Hopper and Kinsley Marie Steele; a great grandson, Jackson, coming soon; and a special friend, Betty White. Teresa was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dale Tackett, and her husband, Donnie Butler, and several other family members. Services will be 6 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Derek Baker. A gathering for friends and family will be Tuesday at the chapel from 4 PM until the hour of service.
