Obituary of Lillie R. Ross

Lillie R. Ross, 94, Harrodsburg, widow of Robert D. Ross, died Thursday, June 1, 2017,  at the Willows, Harrodsburg. Born May 8, 1923, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Charles Adam and Lanta (Sims) Reed. Lillie was a retired seamstress for Cricketeer, and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include: one daughter, Lanta Jane (Richard) Briscoe of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Joseph Patrick Briscoe, Melissa (Bruce) Meeks, and Richard Brandon (Christine) Briscoe; two great grandchildren, Ross Alan Meeks and Brandon Lawrence Briscoe; an extended grandchild, Jessica L. Arth. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Adam Ross, and extended grandchild, David Lance Lawson, and nine siblings.

Funeral services 2PM Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Derek Baker. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel and will include an Order of the Eastern Star service.
