Alma Mae Hamlin, 86, Harrodsburg, KY, widow Artman Hamlin Sr., died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington. Born November 27, 1930, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Worley and Laura Ethel (Norton) Sanders.  She was a retired Revenue Cabinet employee and member of the Salvisa United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and reading.

Survivors include:  one sister, Jean (J.B.) Claunch of Salvisa; two brothers, Charles (Zoanna) Sanders, and Timmy (Betty) Sanders of Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews, including Sonny (Robin) Hamlin, of Harrodsburg. Preceded in death by four siblings, Glenwood Sanders, Rosalyn May, Lonnie Sanders, and Doris Peavler.

Funeral services 11 AM Friday, June 23, 2017, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. George Smith and Dr. Leonard Marr. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday, June 22, 2017, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers:  Gerald Claunch, Scotty Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Blake Norton, Joe Norton and Dylan Jenkins.

Memorials suggested to Heritage Hospice or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
