Obituary of Janice Yates

Janice Yates, 78, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Don Billy Yates, died Tuesday at the University of Louisville Hospital. Born February 18,1939, in Mercer County. She was the daughter of the late Ruel T. and Beulah (Dearinger) Lay.  Janice was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, and the Lunch Bunch.
 Janice is survived by: her husband: Don Billy Yates and a son: Don (Amy) Yates Jr., one sister: Brenda Bradford and one brother: Gary (Pat) Lay, Daughter-in-law, Susan M. Yates, a half sister, Sherri Lay, Granddaughter, Lauren Childers and Grandson, Andrew Yates all of Harrodsburg, KY. Janice was preceded in death by a son, Dale Yates.
 Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday; July 14 and prior to service on Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Andrew Yates, Jeff Noel, Justin Lay, Rick VanArsdall, Glenn Logue, Michael Childers and Brandon Lay. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Alan B Yates, Jimmy Wallace and Carl VanArsdell
 Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert DeFoor. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
