Obituary of Dr. Ernest G. Estridge
Dr. Ernest G. Estridge, 93, Harrodsburg, widower of Anne Fields Estridge, died Tuesday at The Willows at Harrodsburg. Born June 22,1924, in Stanford, KY, to the late James Marion and the late Laura (Watkins) Estridge. He is an Army veteran, serving during World War II. Doc graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1953, he was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, Kentucky Dental Association, Bluegrass Dental Society, Harrodsburg Lions Club and American Legion Post 52.
Doc Estridge is survived by: two daughters: Laura (Art) Freeman, Harrodsburg and Melissa (Steve) Hill of Shepherdsville, a grandson, Will (Stephanie) Freeman; great granddaughter, Ann Parker Freeman; one nephew and several nieces. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, and two sisters, Nannie White, Lorene Fowler and two brothers, William Arnold Estridge and James Marion Estridge Jr..
Visitation will be Friday; October 27 from 10 am - 12 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the Spring Hill Cemetery shelter by Gaye Haralu.
