Obituary of Othel Browning

Othel Browning, 77, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Barbara Jane Browning, died Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab, Harrodsburg.  Born July 14, 1940, in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Walter and Fairie Marie Whittaker Browning. He was a member of the Benton Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Other survivors include three daughters: Sharon K. Hansel of Mackville,  Allison B. Patton of Salvisa, and Erin Sharee Jackson of Danville,  and one son: Edwin "Eddie" Lester Browning of Harrodsburg,  two sisters: Ada B. Peavler of Lancaster, and Marlene McFatridge of Harrodsburg,  and one brother: Eddie Sherrell Browning of Harrodsburg, he also has eight grandchildren and  one great-grandchild, and several Nieces & Nephews. Othel is predeceased by a sister, Juanita Estes and a brother, PFC Edwin P. Browning.
Funeral services 2 pm, Tuesday; Nov. 7, 2017 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Stephen VanHook and Michael Conover officiating.  Burial  will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers are to be: Kendall Ross, Connie Estes, Bill Estes, Roger Peavler, Gil Lay and Kaywood Morris.
