MARVIN “CENTER” FREEMAN Marvin “Center” Freeman, age 83, 196 Davenport Road, Salvisa husband of Shirley Arleen Carl Freeman, died Saturday, September 13th at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born January 20, 1920 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Gabe and Margaret Hurst Freeman, was a retired employee of the Phoenixville Hospital in Pennsylvania, a US Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the DAV, and a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ. Survivors besides his wife include a brother, Leon Freeman, Louisville, a number of nieces and nephews, and a number of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Ebenezer Church of Christ by Bro. John Kesel. Burial will be held at the Ebenezer Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the Church. Memorials are suggested to the Ebenezer Church of Christ. Active pallbearers are Hal Bryan, Sonny Bryan, Jerry Freeman, Jerry Newby, Lois (Baldie) Dean, Garnett Cinnamon and Roy Lynn Freeman. Honorary pallbearers are nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
