Margaret W. Huff, age 83, Danville, died Saturday, October 4 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Born May 13, 1920 in Rockwood, TN, she was the daughter of the late James and Katie J. McKinney Williams and was the widow of the late Gerald DeNise and the late Mike Huff. She was a 1939 graduate of McKinney High School, a 1949 graduate of Deaconess Hospital Nursing School, Cincinnati, served as Assistant and Director of Nursing at Kentucky State Hospital, was a former RN at Ephraim McDowell Hospital, Danville and Pattie A. Clay Hospital, Richmond for several years, worked as Maternal and Child Health Consultant for the Department of Human Resources for a number of years, and was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Harrodsburg. Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Aldridge, Kitts Hill, Ohio; a son Gerald DeNise, Jr., Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James G. and John A. Williams and a sister Ann Elizabeth Mobley. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, Oct. 9 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Father Joe Meunch; burial will be in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Wednesday and after 7:30 am Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, 1941 Bishop Lane, Suite 110, Louisville, KY 40218. Pallbearers are David Miracle, Steven Miracle, Aaron Austin, David W. DeNise, William DeNise, Jim Ed Williams, and Dr. Hugh "Sam" Williams.
