REGINA LEE AMMONS Regina Lee Ammons, age 22, 5443 East 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN, died Saturday, October 11 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Lincoln County. Born April 21, 1981 in Tampa, Florida, she was the daughter of Dennis Lynn Ammons, Indianapolis, IN and Loraine K. Kendhammer Slagle, Griffin, GA. She was an office manager for the Community Pediatric Care Center in Indianapolis, attended Indiana Business College and was a member of the Christian Tabernacle. Survivors, other that her father and mother, include her step-mother Beverly Jo Ammons, Indianapolis; paternal grandmother Waldine Gray, Mercer Co.; maternal grandmother Ruth Whelan, England; one brother, Christopher Lynn Ammons, Indianapolis, and one sister, Brittany Marie Steiger, Griffin, GA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 14 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Floying Thompson. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriners Crippled Children’s Hospital in Lexington. Pallbearers will be Ken Ammons, Daniel ray Harper, Jr., Ryan Eldridge, Walter Eldridge, Chris Hawkins, Christopher Ammons, Heather Ammons, and Dianne Harper.
