Obituary of Thomas Bruce Cosby

THOMAS BRUCE COSBY Thomas Bruce Cosby, age 77, 632 Longview Drive, Danville, husband of Louise Demaree Cosby, died Thursday, October 16, 2003 in Danville after a long illness. Born November 4, 1925 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Everett and Cornelia Sanders Cosby, was a retired farmer, member of the New Providence Presbyterian Church and attended the Danville Nazarene Church. Survivors other than his wife include a daughter Carolyn June Coburn, Danville; one brother Owen Cosby, Bloomington, IN; three sisters, Vivian Yates, Louisville, Christine Shook, Wisconsin, and Mary Ann Carey, Harrodsburg; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, October 18, 2003 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Henderson Goins and Mark East. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Friday and after 7:30 am Saturday at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Farrell Hall, Gordon Graham, William Maurice Cheak, Jeffery Dale Cheak, Bud Trayner, and Danny Gipson.
