HARLAN WAYNE WALLS


Harlan Wayne Walls, 60, Burgin, husband of Dixie Belle McRay Walls, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center.


Born April 10, 1944 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Harlan and Anna Laura Keeling Walls.


He was a shipping department employee for North American Phillips Lighting Corporation in Danville, a US Navy veteran, a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the American Legion.


Survivors besides his wife include: three daughters, Melody Anne Woods and Stephanie Carol Proctor, both of Burgin and Christal Wayne Darland, Harrodsburg; one sister, Peggy Anne Lucas, Burgin, and five grandchildren, Andrew Curtsinger, Stuart Woods, Nichole Woods, Taylor Darland, and Colton Darland.


Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, April 22nd at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. John Hockersmith.


Visitation will be from 5 until 9 pm Wednesday and after 7:30 am Thursday at the chapel.


Memorial contributions are suggested to one’s favorite charity.
