Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Coleman
Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Coleman, 79, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Jerry Lee Coleman, died Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington. Born March 20, 1940, in Pocohontas, AR, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Anna (Schmidt) DeClerk.
Other survivors include: three daughters: Georgia Ann (Stuart) Grooms of Kansas City, MO, Susan Elizabeth (Mark) Willmott of Harrodsburg, and Rose Marie (Brian) Love of Petersfield, England, and four sons: Michael Andrew Coleman of Harrodsburg, Col. Daniel James (Carol) Coleman of Marshfield, MO, Dr. Charles Anthony (Christine) Coleman of Cincinnati, OH and David Lee (Lisa) Coleman of Harrodsburg; one brother: Rainer (Sue) DeClerk of Pocahontas, AR; she also has twenty grandchildren and is soon expecting her first great grandchild.
Catholic Mass will be held Monday, July 22, 2019, at 11:00am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, with visitation 3-6 pm Sunday, July 21, 2019, at the church. Burial will be later in the St. Paul Cemetery, Pocahontas, AR.
Pallbearers: Kevin Grooms, Eric Grooms, Grant Willmott, William Coleman, Luke Coleman and Gregory Coleman. Honorary Bearers: Gabrielle Cobb, Joshua Coleman, Rebecca Coleman, Aaron Coleman, Hope Coleman, Loren Willmott, Mary Coleman, Anna Coleman, Catherine Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Caroline Coleman, Georgia Coleman, Jacob Coleman, and Eden Love.
