Margaret Lee Sexton, 86, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Jimmy Sexton, died Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born September 26, 1935, in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of Elijah Worley and Hallie (Monroe) Yocum. She was a retired Licensed Realtor and Administrator for Sexton & Associates Realty. She was a member of the Kirkwood Baptist Church where she was pianist for 63 years. She also taught music lessons at the Salvisa and McAfee Schools, and has played for numerous weddings, funerals and other church events. Margaret Lee was also the pianist for the gospel quartet, The Melody Notes.

In addition to her husband; Jimmy, other survivors include: three sons, David (Kathy) Sexton, Donald (Bonnie) Sexton and Dale Sexton; a daughter; Debra (Terry) Yates; twelve grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren with one on the way; one great great grandchild, pending.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Sunday; August 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm, August 22, 2022, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Redding and Ben Werner. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren; Jennifer Goodlett, Beth Harley, Jeremy Sexton, Josh Sexton, Natalie Wilham, Jason Sexton, Dale Shannon Sexton, Sarah Haven, Jonathan Sexton, Casey Ruckel, Daniel Sexton, and Jacob Sexton. Honorary Bearers will be; Linda Alford, Alan Yates, Sandra Hatton, Terry Poynter, Billy Yocum, Steve Yocum, Susan Yocum and Janice Hagman.
