Charles Ray “Chuck” Butler Jr., age 72, husband of Deborah “Debbie” (Reecher) Butler, of Harrodsburg KY, died Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Harrodsburg Health & Rehab in Harrodsburg, KY. Born January 22, 1952 in Washington, DC, to the late Charles Ray and Sylvia Elizabeth (Forsyth) Butler Sr. Chuck was a retired Electrician and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching UK Basketball games.

He is survived by his wife: Debbie Butler , one daughter: Connie (Johnny) Wheeler Sr. and one son: Kevin (Teresa) Butler; one sister: Tammy Schumacher; nine grandchildren; Sylvia Wheeler; Samantha (Dillon) Hacker, Johnny Paul (Kelsey) Wheeler Jr., Stephanie Wheeler, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Butler, Nathan (Shay) Butler, Trevor Butler, Morgan (Schyer) Hicks and Madison (Tyler) Junkin; and ten Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his In-Law’s; Richard and Gayle Reecher, and C.L. and Carol Reading, Brother In Law, Buddy Reecher, and Brother In Law, Steve Holland.

The funeral will be held 1pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Ransdell Fuenral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Steve Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Visitation will be on Tuesday January 21, 2025 from 11am-1pm.

Pallbearers: Johnny Paul Wheeler Jr., Nathan Butler, Trevor Butler, Dylan Hacker, Alan Davis and Lee Baker. Honorary Pallbearers: Bryan Montgomery, Tom Curtsinger, Sam Hannah, Bonnie Davidson, Pam Hannah, Kim Owens and Rebecca Baker.
