John Merson, age 66, of Albany KY, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born September 1, 1958 in Maryland to the late Jonathan Watts and Mary Ellen (Smith) Merson. John was a Dock Manager and Security guard for Safe Harbor Marina. He was a proud father of Jess Ann and enjoyed spending time on the Lake.

He is survived by one daughter: Jessica (Morgan Phillips) Ann Merson of Salvisa, KY; two brothers: Lawrence Cane and Robbie Rosario; and former wife Rhonda Merson.

He is preceded in death by his Brother, Lacey Merson, Brother, Raymond Cane, and Sister, Barbara Perez.

Family has decided to honor John’s final wishes and has chosen cremation. There are no services at this time.
