Madonna King Obituary

Melissa “Madonna” King, 55, Danville, KY, died Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born April 6, 1969, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of Norma "Janey" (Hubble) Trisler and the late James Stallard Trisler. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed her cats and cows and all farm animals. Madonna was an outdoor person.


Survivors include: her Life Partner, Rick Bishop of Danville, two sons: Daniel (Amanda) Tharp and Ben (Sam) Tharp, two sisters: Ginger Bussell Skaggs and Melody (Junior) Thompson all of Harrodsburg, KY, and one brother: George (Vonda) Craig of North Carolina, KY; ten grandchildren, Phenix Tharp, Memphis Hancock, Jordan Tharp, C.J. Hickey, Saniya Turner, Emoni Tharp, Amara Hood, Leelynn Hood and Colton Milburn. She was preceded in death by her father, James Stallard Trisler and a brother; Stanley Craig


Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 18 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Phil Yates. Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
