Obituary of Marshall Jackson Medley

Marshall Jackson Medley, age 56, husband of Lisa Underwood, of Harrodsburg died Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born May 4, 1968 in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Marshall R. and Juanita (Asher) Medley. Marshall enjoyed watching UK Basketball and was an avid wrestling fan.
He is survived by three daughters: Anita Vela Jimenez, Britta (Chris Parker) Short and Bridget (Scotty Boswell) Cox; two sisters: Judy Fields and Bertha Jean, and three brothers: Craig Fields, Rufus Fields and George Fields; eleven grandchildren; Hailey, Lanita, Juanita, Zaiden, Leona, DJ, Brayden, Josiah, Axel, Amaya and Victoria; two great grandchildren, Harper & Taylor and two great grandbaby twins girls on the way, he also has several cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded on death by his Brothers, Roy Fields, Marcus Fields, James Owens, and Sister, Linda Fields.
Funeral Services will be 1pm Saturday March 29, 2025 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg KY, 40330 with Greg Collier officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel Saturday March 29, 2025.
Memorials have been suggested to Ransdell Funeral Chapel, to assist family with funeral arrangements.
The family had asked that you wear Kentucky Blue the day of the funeral service to celebrate Marshall’s life and love for UK Basketball.
