Betty Ann Royalty 85, widow of Jackie F. Royalty died Friday, March 28, 2025 at her home in Lexington. Born September 28, 1939 in Millville, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Aubrey and Marjorie (Dotson) Green. Betty was a retired civil servant from various government jobs. She was a member of Faith Fellowship church and attended Methodist churches. She loved her family and that was her life. Survivors include a son, Kevin (Michelle) Royalty of Florence, KY and Jacqueline (Thomas) Kennedy of Lexington and two grandchildren, Amanda Brinegar and Jackson Kennedy along with five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Frank (Delores) Green and two sisters, Lois (Tommy) Logue and Patty Green. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Gaye (Darrell) Brock, two brothers Donald (Maryann) Green and Wayne (Linda) Green. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM; Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Green. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Thomas Kennedy, Jackson Kennedy, Kevin Royalty, Danny Brock, Monty McRay and Joe Smith . Memorial donations can be made to the UK Markey Cancer Center, 750 Rose St, Lexington, KY 40536
