Carolyn Gabehart, age 84, widow of James Weldon Gabehart, of Harrodsburg died Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born September 26, 1940 in Harrodsburg, KY to the late Roy Bernice and Wilma Bell (Pinkston) Catlett. Carolyn was a retired bookkeeper for Mercer County Schools Systems. She was a member of Harrodsburg United Methodist Church and United Women of Faith (formally The Doris Davis Circle).

She is survived by one daughter: Wanda Gabehart of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister: Sandra Thompson of Harrodsburg, KY and several Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Daughter, Patricia "Trish" Jolene Gabehart.

The funeral will be held 11am on Monday, April 7 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Garland Hawkins, Allen Gibson and Sylvia Baker-Noren officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm Sunday April 6, 2025 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
