Sarah Elizabeth Rowe, age 81, 318 Sexton Lane, Harrodsburg, died Thursday, May 12, 2005 at Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.Born July 23, 1923 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Wayne and Mary B. (Bradford) Sexton. She was the widow of Marion Walter Rowe. Sr..S

he was a homemaker and active member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church. Sarah loved to travel and entertain and was an avid amateur photographer.

Survivors include: two sons: James (Laurie) Rowe of Big Lake, Alaska, Walter (Nancy) Rowe Jr. of Harrodsburg, KY; and several Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Rowe, and a brother, Harvey (Buddy) Sexton.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tues., May 17, 2005, at the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Owens and Dr. David Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and after 12 Noon Tuesday at the Church.

Pallbearers are Ron Bradford, Taylor Lunsford, David Lunsford, Wayne Sexton, H.J. Sims and Steve Sims.
