Harry E. Strickland, age 91, of Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Maryann Jackson Strickland, died Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Baptist Health of Lexington, KY. Harry was born September 24, 1933 in Freehold, NJ., to the late Elvin B. and Ruhama (Miller) Strickland. He was a retired farmer, former co-owner of The Words of Life Christian Bookstore, and was a member of The Carpenter's Christian Church, where he served as a former Trustee and on the Finance Committee.

He is survived by: his wife, Maryann (Jackson) Strickland; two daughters, Joann (Jeff) Sims of Mercer Co., KY and Beth Strickland of Columbus, OH; one son, Gene Strickland of Mercer Co., KY; two grandchildren, Brittany (Jacob Humphrey) Sims and Hunter Sims. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & Richard Strickland.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Friday, June 6, 2025, at The Carpenter's Christian Church, 1340 U.S. 127 Bypass, Harrodsburg, KY with Greg Warren officiating. Entombment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation is from 11 am until 2 pm, Friday, at the church.

Pallbearers are Ed Delp, Hunter Sims, Jacob Humphrey, Jeff Sims, John Sims, and John Kesel. Larry D. Camic will serve as an Honorary Bearer.
