Bonnie M. Carey, 88, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Robert Leon Carey, died Monday, August 11, 2025, at home. Born February 17, 1937, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mary Ellen (Sanders) Goodlett. Bonnie retired from Whirlpool Manufacturing and was a long time caregiver. She was also a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a daughter: Rita Merideth and two sons: Tony Carey and Terry Carey all of Harrodsburg; sister: Judy (Arthur) Pennington of Middletown, OH and a brother: Danny Goodlett of Marion Co., KY; she also has ten grandchildren: Adam Carey, Cori Carey, Amanda Perkins, Josh Carey, Shelby Tredoux, Brandin Carey, Dana Ross, Jim Merideth, Thomas Merideth and Jamie Devine and Eleven (11) Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky C. Goodlett, a grandson, Ashley Scott Goodlett, and her brother, William T. Goodlett.
Visitation will be 11 am - 2 pm Thursday; August 14, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm, conducted by Hillary Claypool. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY
Pallbearers will be: Brandin Carey, Chris Perkins, Josh Carey, Aaron Ross, Jim Merideth, Thomas Merideth, Adam Carey and Kage Perkins.
