John William Deshazer, age 53, of Harrodsburg KY, died Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his sister’s home in Bardstown KY. Born April 27, 1972 in Harrodsburg, KY to the late George DeShazer and the late Georgia (Gritton) Deshazer. John was a member of Mt.Freedom Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, Kentucky Basketball and fishing.

He is survived by his children, one brother; David (Denise) Deshazer of Harrodsburg, KY; and one sister; Rita Deshazer of Bardstown KY.

The funeral will be 1pm on Friday, August 22 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Jacob Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be from 5pm-7pm Thursday August 21 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Lamont Linton, Lil Jack Pearson, Jimmy Patterson, Ernie Kelty, Joe Bill Lance, David Deshazer and Sonny Ransdell.
