Rosie Mae Johnson, age 90, Mercer Co., KY, widow of Thomas Johnson Jr., died Friday, August 29, 2025 at Sayre Christian Village of Lexington, KY. Rosie was born April 4, 1935 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leebell and Sara Rogers (Jones) Jones. Rosie was a homemaker and member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ.

She is survived by: a daughter, Regina Gregory; two sons, Deryl (Bea) Johnson and Stan (Nona) Johnson; one sister, Nettie Stinnett; two brothers, Henry Jones and Tom Jones; four grandchildren, Dwayne, Sara, Ethan and Blaine, and a step grandchild, Bradley; nine great grandchildren, Liam, Roman, Serena, Dylan, Bradley, Noah, Roxas, Caleb & Abigail.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Johnson, two sisters, Shirley Phillips and Dorothy McCrystal.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY with Terry Morrison officiating. Private burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, KY

visitation will be Saturday, September 6th from 10 am - 11 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
