Hope Barbara Haack, 81, Burgin, KY, wife of Dave Haack, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, September 11, 2025.Hope was born January 27, 1944, in Derby, CT, and she was the daughter of the late Steven and Helen (Hylwa) Sokol. Hope graduated from the Derby High School and retired as a surgical technician for the Central DuPage Hospital in Wheaton, IL. Hope also volunteered with Heritage Hospice in Danville, KY and was a member of the Harrodsburg Community Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband Dave Haack include: a daughter: Pam Hurlbrink of Woodbridge, VA and two sons: Alex Pricenor of Parksville, KY and Ron Pricenor of St. Augustine, FL; a brother: Steven Sokol Jr. of Oxford, CT; she also has three Step Children: Tracy Hale of Granger, IN, Kathy Haack of Anna, IL and Randy Haack of Millcreek, IL. These children provided them with eleven (11) grand children and fifteen (15) great grandchildren.

There are no formal services for Hope at this time.
