Tammy Poynter, age 53, Fiancé of Dave Stahlman, of Harrodsburg died Friday, October 10, 2025 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born March 5, 1972 in Somerset, KY to Mazie (Reynolds) Poynter and the late Russell Poynter. Tammy was an entrepreneur, she worked doing all kinds of different jobs. She was a member of Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church, loved crafts and making things for people, loved turtles, Wonder Woman and most all being a Nanna.

She is survived by two daughters: Gracie (C.J.) Gibson and Cassaundra (Isabella) Clavijo, and two sons: Garrett Payne and John McKinney; her mother Mazie (Reynolds) Poynter; sister Barbara Osborne and one brother: Jeff Poynter; three grandchildren Hunter Payne, Presley Payne and Xander Gibson.

Predeceased by her Brother, David Poynter and Sister, Carolyn Fields.

The funeral will be held 1pm on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Larry Holbrooke officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be Monday October 13, 2025 from 11am-1pm.
