Donald Mitchell Burkhart, age 75, husband of Jeanne Marie (Bolender) Burkhart, of Harrodsburg died Monday, October 20, 2025 at home in Harrodsburg KY. Born August 5, 1950 in Kokomo, IN, to the late Donald and Betty Jane (Gerhard) Burkhart. Donald was a member of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and a retired Clean Room Technician at Lexmark. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles when he was able too.

He is survived by his wife: Jeanne Marie Burkhart two sons: Paul (Beth) Burkhart of Harrodsburg, KY and Thomas (Stacy) Burkhart of Schertz, TX; one sister: Gretchen Laudenschlager and one brother: Randall Burkhart; He also has five grandchildren; Robyn (Justin) Mitchell, Ryan Young, Tommy Burkhart, Lee Bell and Sarah Burkhart.

The memorial service will be held 12pm on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 with Jordan Asbury officiating. Visitation will be from 11am-12pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel on Monday October 27, 2025.
